BE OF SERVICE TO APO –

BECOME A TRAINED PRESENTER!

Graduating Seniors – we are in need for more APO LEADS presenters.

Basic Skills Presenter and Facilitator Training is available for groups of five or more and delivered locally. This course is open to all members.

Course content training will be available at the NVC (except SERVE).

You must have attended the course as a participant (except for SERVE). Course content training is restricted to all but active members.

Training sessions are being scheduled in Regions II and III. For more information, contact the Regional LD Chairs in those regions or your Regional Director or Section Chair.

Those who complete training are asked to make a commitment to present courses inside and outside their home region each year.

CELEBRATE LEADERSHIP – DEVELOP A LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR YOUR CHAPTER

The 2006 National Convention directed that Chapters be encouraged to develop an award designed to recognize individual leadership excellence, both inside and outside the Fraternity, to be presented by Spring 2008.

Chapters that currently do not have such an award in place are asked to create and present such an award this spring and report this to their Regional LD Chair or Regional Director.

FIRST NATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD TO BE PRESENTED AT THE NATIONAL CONVENTION

At the 2008 National Convention, Alpha Phi Omega will present the first National Leadership Award to the Chapter with the best overall leadership program.

More information, award criteria and applications will be available to Chapters this spring or via www.apo.org.
