Alpha Phi Omega has two national level awards structured to recognize chapters and individuals for their dedication to the development of a strong partnership between Alpha Phi Omega and youth service organizations.
M. R. Disborough Scouting Service Award
This award recognizes those Chapters with exceptional service to Scouting as an integral part of their overall service program. It is awarded biannually at the Fraternity’s National Convention.
Herbert G. Horton - Service To Youth Award
This award is presented by the National Scouting and Youth Service Committee to an active, alumni, advisory or honorary Brother who has made a significant contribution to the youth of their community through Scouting and/or another youth service organization and who has worked to strengthen the relationship between Alpha Phi Omega and the youth service organization at a local, regional, state and/or national level.
In addition to the national level awards structured to recognize chapters and individual brothers in Alpha Phi Omega, the national scouting and youth services committee has created the scouting recognition certificate to recognize youth and adults within the various youth service organizations for their dedication and involvement.
