Continue the Legacy that You Began as a Student...

Few things are more compelling in today's hectic, bottom-line world than the immense power of those who strive to serve their college campuses, their communities and humanity in the name of leadership, friendship and service. Those who seek membership in the Fraternity that is Alpha Phi Omega believe in this power - the power that evokes a sense of commitment, the power that embraces the spirit of volunteerism.

Memories of youth live deep within our souls. The question arises, "Do members leave Alpha Phi Omega once they graduate? Is it only a college experience?" Yes, people do move on with life experiences such as careers and family, but the deep sense of commitment to a cause, of knowing that volunteering for service to others helps to make a difference in people's lives, remains embedded in the hearts of APO members everywhere. At some point in their lives, these experiences translate into fostering better human relationships and more well-rounded communities. Alpha Phi Omega members know that their college experience will be magnified one thousand-fold because they took the time to participate in activities that made a difference.

There are many Alpha Phi Omega alumni who still maintain an active connection with the Fraternity, whether it is through volunteering as a chapter advisor, section staff member, section chair, or national board member, whether it is through monetary gifts to the Fraternity or to the Alpha Phi Omega Endowment Trust, or whether it is receiving the quarterly issue of the Torch & Trefoil. Alpha Phi Omega is blessed with alumni who donate countless hours of their time and talents, and, at the same time, their treasure. Students in Alpha Phi Omega benefit from the guidance and wisdom of alumni who have come before them. Being an alumni volunteer, through gifts of time and money, is a wonderful way to provide a tangible example of leadership, friendship and service to students.
